Brittany is a long distance trail runner who is a member of the Bellingham Distance Project - a competitive group of endurance athletes in Bellingham, WA who are pursuing success in endurance races and events while supporting the local running community.
When she’s not running, you can find her climbing, cooking, or planning potential road trips. She is starting the process of pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy. She and her partner own a 1993 Volkswagen Eurovan "Irma", which they built themselves after they completed their undergrad degrees. They used the van as a home base to compete in trail, road and track races across the west in the summer of 2018. Brittany’s goal is to develop a skillset that allows her to help people identify their ideal movement pattern to prevent injury and build confidence in whatever activity they pursue.
